Hello Blizzard Support,
This is beyond frustrating.
I have been playing Diablo IV on Xbox Series S since launch, and for over a year, the exact same problem has persisted: the game runs fine in the morning and afternoon, but every single evening and night, the server lag becomes unbearable. Latency spikes constantly from around 50ms to 3000ms+, making the game completely unplayable during peak hours.
For reference, my setup is:
- Platform: Xbox Series S
- Connection: 100 Mbps high-speed internet (stable connection, wired)
- Location: South Korea
- ISP: Local major provider
- Other online games run without any lag issues on the same setup.
This is clearly not an issue on my side. Many other players have reported the same evening/night lag for months, and yet there has been no permanent fix or clear communication from Blizzard. It is unacceptable that after more than a year, such a severe and predictable server performance problem remains unresolved.
Players have paid for this game and its seasonal content, and we expect a stable online experience. Instead, during the exact hours when most people have time to play, we are faced with unplayable lag that destroys the gameplay experience.
I demand that Blizzard take immediate action to investigate and resolve this recurring server performance issue on Xbox during peak hours, and provide a public explanation for why it has been allowed to continue for so long.
We deserve answers — and a fix.
